Lot Notes

Gili Mocanu was part of the avant-garde movement Rostopasca, at the begining of the 2000. A proficient drawer, he juggles neo-conceptualism and neo-minimalism, creating visual poetics, flat surfaces with many layers of sense. With an almost abstract thinking and a meticulous line, he works with a primal inspiration, not an instinct. He exhibited in: San Francisco, Duisburg, Viena, Lisabona, Timisoara, Bucharest etc.
