Bogdan Vlăduță’s practice is akin to that of an archeologist who strives to unearth the hidden meanings of displaced human artifacts. His large canvases double as psychoanalytic investigations into individuals. There is a classicism and a monastic sobriety to them. His works can be found in numerous public and private collections around the world. Notable solo shows include: “Death to Rome!” at the National Museum of the Arts in Cluj-Napoca (2007) and “Loci” at Ana Cristea Gallery, New York (2014).
